First IMPressions

So far I have had two days of the course its been quite allot to take in but i supose we arnt being spoon fed anymore!
I am finding it a totally new way of learning having to think more on my own and come up with ideas on my own!
The thematic lectures have been pretty interesting it is great when the lecturers use clips from films or images just because it makes it that little bit more realistic and applicable. I find in general if they could link it more to the industry it would be easier to understand. Some of the lecturers are great at that.
Claudias lectures are really complex and pretty hard to get my head round just because of all the complex words and terms she uses. The best lecture we had was when we spent 20 minutes talking about the brief and ended up arguing whether a fact is a fact… (I still think that it is a fact that the sun is hot, warm what ever word descibes it best)
The seminars have been pretty awesome… i have enjoyed the photoshop ones just because i love using it but i did find i was able to do all of the stuf Will had us doo… HTML is all new to me so that was pretty hard but usefull.. and i cant wait to use more final cut pro ( does anyone know if we have access to fianl cut pro studios??)
Anny way its all good so far but i am fretting about my 4 images and this Essay.
I am a chap that really enjoys photography and things that look nice. I am currently on my PGCE year at Bath University which is training me to be a ICT teacher. I love playing rugby and going Kitesurfing in Kenya which is my home away from home.
