Copyright?

This was an image i created that was trying to express the conflict between nature and technology. And simply using the play on words of battery chicken i created this quite literal battery chicken image.
The image itself consists of a series of layered images using Photoshop and a bit of illustration to make the egg.
The images were obtained from a series of free or open source stock photography. The Duracell one may have actually been just googled?
So i think the main things is have i referenced the photographers for the images i have used (Chicken, Wire mesh) No I haven’t but I cant recall if I had as I just grabbed them with out looking at the conditions.
The battery may come under some fore of copyright as it is a name brand Duracell and they would complain I am using it against them I’m sure in some way.
Although i feel that it is enough of a montage that makes it my piece of work. IE I have edited enough that it is now my property. I don’t know how this would fair against copyright but id like to think I could publish it and not be sued (So long as I reference the photos I used from the stock piles)???
I am a chap that really enjoys photography and things that look nice. I am currently on my PGCE year at Bath University which is training me to be a ICT teacher. I love playing rugby and going Kitesurfing in Kenya which is my home away from home.
