Some textures are really cool, but NOT the default ones in photoshop! You can actually make great textures yourself just by snapping photos of cement and stuff like that. I have a great one (well in my opinion) that I use very sparingly...with a macro set up I shot a blank white wall through the viewfinder of a crappy old camera. I got all the crap from the viewfinder like fibers, dust, and a yellow color cast which I can obviously get rid of if I want to.

You're onto something...just don't use the default stuff unless ya want a default look!

613photo’s last blog post..And the Parking Lot was Empty

I agree with others - this postprocessing is too much. I wonder what will you do with the next part of clouds :)

It looks like a texture overlay of some kind. I agree with Ivar, though. It's a beautiful sky that doesn't seem to need that sort of treatment. I'm all for experimenting, though!

Great clouds, I like cumulus clouds. To be honest I don't like the processing, for me it takes the attention away from the great clouds.

As far as how you want to present it, I'll let you choose. :)

Ivar’s last blog post..Spying on Santa
