Simply serendipitous
I wonder if anyone can tell me how this shot was taken and how it happened?
What does it represent?

Nice shot- I really like this one. The colours are beautiful
Like the gradient shot! Very useful as a background.

Its a plane, no a bird, no wait… I got it, its a horizon… ehhh maybe… nevertheless the picture is neat, and the sepia tones fits very nicely I like it.
As far as how it happened… someone had a camera and the shutter button got clicked? ;)

I’ll take a stab.
Cannot tell what you were shooting, but perhaps it was your first shot of the session and your camera was left on old settings…in this case a long shutter speed. The result is a 6 or 7 stops of overexposure (and camera movement), and you brought it back as far as you could in your RAW editor and this is how it came out. At least I’ve done that before and had similar things happen.
As for what it represents…I don’t know. Knowing that you often make political statements with your photography (which I admire a lot, by the way) and that the image makes me feel very warm, perhaps it’s about that?
